Next, you need to add your essential oils. Research has shown that when applied to the scalp, a combination of thyme, rosemary, lavender and cedarwood has improved hair growth by an astounding 44% after just 7 months of treatment.

Lavender Essential Oil

Lavender oil is extracted from the flowers of the lavender plant through the process of steam distillation. Apart from its famous sweet and floral aroma, lavender is also known for its balancing, soothing, and antidepressant effects.

Thyme Essential Oil

Thyme oil is not just used for cooking, but as an antifungal and antibacterial agent.

A few users reported that it can help lessen the effects, or eliminate, toe fungus too.

Thyme oil is also used to encourage hair growth, but be warned that this particular bottle is very potent.

Thyme oil is actually very strong, and too much can sting. Be sure to dilute it with a carrier oil before application.
